PAYMENT INFORMATION


Pretty Personal Gifts accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover, Pay pal and US money orders. We do not accept personal checks. You may order on line through a secure server or via our live chat feature. If you prefer to have someone call you please email us or leave us a message on our voicemail system. We will return your call as quickly as possible. Please note that orders taken by phone may not be processed as quickly as orders placed online. We encourage you to fill out the ordering screens even if you would like to pay for your order by phone. This allows you to retain a copy of your order in writing for your convenience and protection. We also accept Giveanything gift certificates. If your order exceeds the amount of your gift certificate, we will be happy to process the balance for you by credit card, Paypal, or money order. We will contact you after we process your giveanything gift certificate to make arrangements for you to pay any balance due.

RETURN POLICY


As with most stores, we generally do not accept returns on custom made or personalized items. Your order will be custom made to your specifications and typically cannot be resold to someone else if returned. If there is a gross error on our part, or a defect in the product, we will work with you to resolve the error or defect. We reserve the right to replace or repair your item or issue a refund depending on the situation. We want you to be completely satisfied with your order, so please communicate any special requests to us at the time of your order. Please don't hesitate to ask us a question before you place your order.

Please do not return any product without prior authorization
. Authorization must be requested within 7 days of receipt of the item. Email:shop@prettypersonalgifts.com We will not be responsible for damaged or lost shipments sent to us so be sure to insure your package. Please note that shipping charges are non refundable. Approved returns must reach us within 10 days of return authorization unless otherwise specified.

CANCELLATIONS

Once an order is placed for a custom item or a personalized item it may not be cancelled. We find it necessary to enforce this policy because the items are manufactured based on your request and are ordered or made specifically for you. When you place your order most times it is immediately transmitted to the proper production department. For this reason we will not be able to cancel an item after you finalize your order. All personalized items are non-returnable, non-exchangeable and cannot be cancelled once your order has been placed with the manufacturer. Of course if we have made an error on your order, we will replace the item at absolutely no charge to you.

TURN AROUND TIMES & PRODUCT INFO

JEWELRY
We normally ship jewelry orders that do not require engraving such as mother bracelets, baby bracelets and name bracelets within 2-5 business days. Allow an additional business 5-10 days for our special engraved items (plus shipping time). Hand stamped items are currently taking 3-4 business days to prepare for shipping. You must also allow for transit time which varies based on your location. During the holiday season, Valentine's day and Mother's day, your order may take longer. Please order early to avoid seasonal delays during our busy time.

Please consider overnight service should you need a guaranteed delivery date on you jewelry order
. We do our best to accommodate all rush orders. If you need your order in hand within 5 business days from the date you place your order, odds are you will need to opt for overnight service. Ground shipping can take up to 7 days to arrive, so please keep this in mind when placing your order. We realize your gift is important and we are thrilled that you have entrusted us to create it for you. Please allow us enough time to ship the item to you once we've completed it. If we cannot meet your timeframe, we will contact you for approval on overnight shipping before manufacturing your item. Overnight shipping does not guarantee that your order will arrive the day after you place the order. If you have an urgent situation, please use our live chat feature to speak to a representative, call us or make mention of this in your order. We will contact you if we cannot work within your timeframe.

Other Information About Jewelry
We will resize our bracelets once free of charge however, shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. There is a minimum $6.00 fee per strand for subsequent resizing needs. Please contact us prior to shipping your jewelry to us for resizing. Jewelry should not be shipped without prior authorization. We have multiple locations and will advise you as to which location can best serve you. You will incur additional shipping charges if you send your jewelry to the wrong location without authorization.

Should you need an additional strand added to a name bracelet, please contact us to make arrangements and for pricing. PLEASE DO NOT SHIP JEWELRY TO US WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION. We strongly recommend that you opt for insurance when returning jewelry to us for any reason.


WOODEN GIFTS: most will normally ship within 1-3 weeks. Hand painted 6, 8, 10 & 12 inch wall letters are now taking 2-3 weeks due to the large volume of orders that we are receive. Rush service is sometimes available for an additional fee on hand painted wall letters. Please note our turn around for hand painted wall letters is one of the shortest in the industry. All wooden gifts are custom made to your specifications when you place your order and may not be returned.

KEEPSAKE PLATES will ship approximately 2-4 weeks from the date ordered. Each plate must ship in a separate box due to the fragile nature of the product. Separate shipping charges apply to every plate ordered. We cannot combine shipping on keepsake plates. This product falls under the personalized gift category and is not returnable

EMBROIDERED GIFTS typically take 5-10 business days plus ship time. Items may take longer depending on the backlog of orders that we have received. Orders placed before major holidays will take longer. Please include the date needed with your order. Embroidered gifts may not be returned unless there is an error on our part in which case we will replace the item at no charge to you.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

SHIPPING INFORMATION
:We use a variety of carriers to deliver our products including UPS, FED EX and the US Postal Service. You must tell us when you place your order if you cannot receive shipments at your delivery address via any of these carriers. Please make us aware of any restrictions regarding your delivery address when you place your order.

Please note that all carriers charge a redelivery fee for shipments sent to an incorrect address. This includes but is not limited to incorrect street name, wrong house number, incorrect zip code, wrong apartment number and incorrect shipping city. Any additional charges incurred as a result of an incorrect shipping address provided to us by the customer are the responsibility of the customer. If the error was made by Pretty Personal Gifts we will assume responsibility. The postal service has recently started returning packages that are not addresses properly. If your shipping address is Oak Park and tell us it's Miami, chances are your package will be returned. Don't leave off words like road, lane, street etc. If the postal standards call for the word "street" please don't change it to "drive". If you alter a shipping address and it doesn't conform to postal standards chances are you will be paying more for shipping when it's returned to us. You can check your address at www.USPS.com to if you would like to see the correct postal format.

We cannot be held responsible for orders that are shipped to an incorrect address provided by our customer. Please check to see if your friends and relatives have moved and review your order for accuracy. Carriers will not pay an insurance claim for lost or damaged parcels that are shipped to the wrong location unless they made the error. Please double check the shipping address before submitting your order to avoid a delay or misdirected delivery. We will do our best to work with you if you have inadvertently asked us to ship a gift to the wrong location.

International Shipping
An extra charge applies to all orders shipping to an international address. We will contact you after you place your order for approval on international shipping charges at which time you may approve or decline the order. The recipient is responsible for all import taxes. We cannot estimate or confirm whether your international order will be subject to a duty or tax. Please refer to your local postal service for this information. We reserve the right to refuse any international order for any reason including those deemed suspicious in nature and those that do not conform with international shipping regulations.

GIFT CERTIFICATES, GIFT CARDS, GIFT WRAP

Gift Certificates, Gift Cards, Gift Wrap

Gift certificates are available in any denomination. We will send a gift certificate on your behalf via e-mail or US Mail upon request. Gift certificates are great for shower gifts when the baby's name or gender has not been determined, or you want the recipient to be involved in the design process. Certificates can be issued for a specific gift or a dollar amount. Our gift certificates do not expire and are valid at any of our 3 stores. Gift cards can be included free of charge with most orders

Gift wrapping is available for some items. Please inquire if no option is shown on the order form. Extra charges do apply for gift wrapping.

GIFT REGISTRY

Gift Registry: To submit a gift registry, please place your order on line and select "Gift Registry" for payment mode when you check out. Let your friends and family know that you registered with us and we will email a copy of your registry to anyone who requests it. We will also post this online for you. We provide free registry cards that can be included in your shower invitations with instructions on how to contact us. Please indicate the number of registry cards you need in comments during check out. Please leave us a voicemail at (877) 710-9889 if you have any questions regarding your gift registry.

SPECIALS

Specials: From time to time we offer specials. Check our specials page to see what's on sale. Please note only one online voucher code can be entered per order and specials apply to orders place on-line only.
Specials do not apply to orders placed by phone. Sign up for our newsletter for unadvertised sales, discounts and specials. You can opt out of our newsletter at any time. We don't automatically email our newsletter to our customers, you have to sign up for it.

PRIVACY POLICY
 

Privacy Policy
We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers. We will not sell or divulge any of your personal information to anyone for any reason. It's that simple. Our orders are processed on a secure server to ensure that your credit card information is safeguarded. If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us. We will never send information via email or regular mail that is unrelated to a transaction that you have initiated with our company. We will not sell our mailing list to anyone for any reason so please don't ask us to. The answer is no. We do have a newsletter that you can sign up for. If at any time you want to opt out, it's very simple to do so and instructions to do so are included in each newsletter.


AOL email accounts, Cox.net, Hotmail and other email accounts

A good portion of our email is rejected from AOL and a few other email providers for some unknown reason. We suspect spam filters are to blame. If you have an AOL email account and are waiting for a reply from us, chances are you are not receiving our messages. Please check your spam folder or you can try our live chat feature. When all else fails give us a call.
