What is a mother's bracelet?
A mother's bracelet or name bracelet shown here

typically includes the names of each child in the family. Names can be put on one strand (if the design permits) or each child can have their own strand. Each strand is joined together at the clasp to form one bracelet. We typically don't attach more than 4 strands to make any one mother's bracelet.

I'm not a mom, but I like the bracelet, what's available for me?
Just because you aren't a mom doesn't mean you can't wear this bracelet. "Mother's bracelet" is just one name that has been given to this style bracelet. They are also referred to as name bracelets, baby bracelets, ID bracelets, you name it. You can wear your own name on the bracelet or the name of a loved one. You may also consider a pet or a significant date. There are no rules that apply to these bracelets, anything goes as long as the space permits.

How do I decide on a style for my mother's bracelet?
the best way to decide is to browse through the photos on our web site or in our catalog. We offer two collections, the Bali and the Classic. The mother's bracelets are priced according to the collection that they belong to. Each bracelet has been assigned a style code. Mother's bracelets belonging to the Classic collection have style codes that begin with the number 1. Mother's bracelets belonging to the Bali collection have style codes that begin with the number 2.

What's the difference between the Bali and the Classic style mother's bracelets?
That's simple! All Bali bracelets contain high quality, hand crafted silver decorative bali beads. Parts of the bali beads are intentionally oxidized (blackened) to give them an antique finish. The beads may resemble raspberries, barrels, tubes, grape clusters etc. The beads are imported and each is hand made. This is an example of a mother's bracelet from the Bali collection

Our Classic collection offers a simple more straightforward design. The beads are a mix of smooth and corrugated, reminiscent of a Tiffany style bracelet. This is an example of a mother's bracelet from our Classic collection


What style clasp is most secure?
the lobster claw and heart lobster claw tend come undone less frequently than toggles, however, we have customers who wouldn't consider wearing a lobster claw. What lengths are available
Our baby bracelet or child size bracelets start at 4.5 inches and can be made up to 6 inches in length. Our adult bracelets start at 6.5 inches and can be made up to 8.5 inches in length. Additional charges may apply for lengths over 8.5 inches. We custom make each bracelet and we can make any size. Please note we resize all of our bracelets once free of charge. Baby bracelets can be made larger as the child grows so she can continue wearing her bracelet throughout adulthood.

How many charms can I have attached to my Mother's Bracelet or Baby Bracelet
there is no limit, but please let us know if you have specific ideas about placement of your charms. We typically place the first two that are ordered at the clasp. Feel free to let us know if you have other ideas for placement.

I'd like a bracelet designed just for me, how can this be done?

I only want one name on my mother's bracelet, but I would like multiple strands, what do you suggest?
we recommend adding and accent strand to the bracelet. Just leave off the name when you order the additional strand and enter "accent strand" and we'll take care of the rest.

Can I have more than one name on a single strand?
we recommend only one name per strand, but in some instances we can fit more. This would depend on the length of the bracelet, the length of the names and the design selected. Remember that more names will result in less design for your bracelet. Style codes 2J, 2E, 2KR and 1CA do not work well with 2 names on one strand. Style codes 1P, 1C, 1P, 2C, 2N may be a better choice. Email us with any questions.

How do you measure a wrist to determine the correct size to order?
We recommend you measure your wrist at the base of your hand using a fabric tape measure. Fit the tape to your wrist the way you would like the bracelet to fit you. Measure it again to see if you get the same length. This is the number that we will use when making your bracelet. Do not adjust for the clasp. Just give us the length that you feel is most comfortable on your wrist. If you do not have a fabric tape measure, use a piece of string to determine the most comfortable fit, then measure the string. The most commonly ordered size is 7.25 inches.
