About the artist....
In 1985 while studying at the State University of New York, head jewelry designer, Janine Jerominek found herself working at the campus arboretum. Her job was to hand forge identification tags for each tree. The tags would display the tree's common and botanical name. She hand stamped all the information on to military style tags that she hand cut from recycled copper pipes.
At the time she wondered if she would ever find use for skills that she learned during this labor intensive and time consuming project. As it turns out she would. In 2001 Janine started designing her own personalized jewelry including hand stamped sterling silver jewelry. Her custom made personalized jewelry line is sold through Pretty Personal Gifts and other boutiques throughout the country.
