We're celebrating our 10th anniversary!

It all started when my parents named me. They considered a popular name like Sue but instead, they choose Janine. That's when the trouble began. My name was more than just unique, it was rarely heard of at the time.

Not a problem until I got a little older and realized that I would never find a license plate for my bike that said "JANINE", no matter how many stores we went to. There were no stickers, no pencils, no erasers, nothing that said "JANINE". The best that anyone could come up with was "JAN". My mom would quickly whip out her black marker and add "INE" on the end, hoping I wouldn't notice. I always noticed!

I was on a never ending quest to find my name printed on something, anything! It just never happened. That's when my relatives started to get creative. Armed with her trusty marker, my Mom would personalize just about anything that my name would fit on. My Aunt Sue, (the craftiest person I know) would embroider my name on my shirt whenever I came to visit. My Grandmother & Godmother always came through with engraved gifts. These were some of my favorite things growing up, all very thoughtful, and yes, all pretty personal gifts.

We're celebrating 10 years in business...read on!

10 years? It just doesn't seem possible. So much has happened since I turned my obsession with monograms into a business. The kids are growing up, our family expanded by two dogs and the business expanded by two stores. We moved our office and design studio to a new location and we now own our bedding company. We're busier than we ever imagined we'd be. One thing that hasn't changed is that I'm still a lover of all things personalized. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have supported this family owned business over the last 10 years. It's a blessing to be able to live your dream and do what you love day in and day out. Without you this wouldn't be possible, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!
